At last... Now we can celebrate Armenia's football victories! Hamlet Mkhitaryan fired a free kick into the top corner in the 66th minute to bring Armenia their second win in seven games, in a Euro 2008 qualifying match against Group A leader Poland, in Yerevan, Armenia, 6 June 2007.
"It is a great day for Armenian football," said the 61-year-old former Aberdeen and Chelsea manager, now Armenia's coach Ian Porterfield, recovering after his battle with bowel cancer.

- Ahh i remember that match from the past :)
I'm polish fan and i was impressed what Armenia did in this match. Poland was great in all matches - even in match with Portugal - we beat them 2:1 and then in rematch was draw 2:2. Polish players just screwd last match and thats why Armenia have won. But in this match Armenia was more better than Poland and i hope that this two teams will meet again but not in qualifications but in final of World Cup or Euro cup.
- this is where poland football belong.. lucky poland amateurs never win on earth of czech republic...
- yes we hope to make it to World or Euro Cup but that seems like a longshot for Armenia at the moment
